Description: desktop tutorial for learning Git and GitHub using shared Electron
Git-it teaches Git and GitHub through eleven challenges worked in a real
terminal against real repositories. Each challenge is verified by running the
system git binary against the folder you point it at, so the exercises leave
you with genuine local history rather than a simulation.
 .
The first three challenges (Get Git, Repository, Commit to it) and the
branching and merging challenges are entirely local and need no network,
credentials, or GitHub account. Challenges four onwards additionally contact
github.com, and two of them depend on an upstream helper service.
 .
This package contains application resources only and uses the bounded shared
 Electron runtime.
