Description: Email client for IMAP and SMTP accounts using shared Electron
Mailspring is a desktop email client for IMAP and SMTP accounts, with unified
search across mailboxes, message templates and signatures, snoozing, and a
local mail database maintained by its own native sync engine.
 .
Account passwords and OAuth refresh tokens are stored with Electron's
safeStorage, which needs a running Secret Service such as GNOME Keyring or
KWallet; the application reports an error and exits if none is available.
SASL authentication mechanisms come from Ubuntu's libsasl2-modules rather than
the copies upstream bundles, and Kerberos mechanisms need
 libsasl2-modules-gssapi-mit.
 .
This package contains application resources only and uses the bounded shared
Electron runtime. An IMAP or SMTP mail account is required to send or receive
 mail.
